Focus
The Arc of Tri-Cities focus is that individuals with developmental disabilities living in Benton and Franklin Counites are empowered to make informed choices and have services and supports to access those choices.

The Arc of Tri-Cities promotes the rights of all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by actively supporting full inclusion and participation in all aspects of the community throughout their lives.
Purpose
The Arc of Tri-Cities helps create opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to participate in society to their greatest potential.
Community Impact
The Arc of Tri-Cities annually serves more than 2,000 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc of Tri-Cities is part of a national organization with over 600 chapters. To meet the growing need for local services, in 2010 The Arc of Tri-Cities built and moved into a new, larger facility.
Volunteers
The Arc of Tri-Cities Board of Directors are committed volunteers including self- advocates, parents, citizens and professionals. They bring diverse skills, experience and talents to serve the constituents.
Additionally, each year about 1,000 volunteers donate their time and energy to assist staff and clients in many ways, and are an extraordinary resource to The Arc.

Geographical Area
Benton and Franklin Counties are located in southeastern Washington where a network of bridges connects Kennewick, Pasco and Richland; three cities clustered on the banks of the Columbia, Yakima and Snake Rivers.
Non-Discrimination Policy
It is the policy of The Arc of Tri-Cities that no person shall be subject to discrimination or its contractors because of race, marital status, color, religion, sex, creed, national origin, age, disability, or status as a disabled veteran or Vietnam era veteran, HIV or any other characteristic protected by law. Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is also a violation of this policy.
