The Arc of Tri-Cities Helping People
|
Advocacy Organization
The Arc of Tri-Cities is people - people with
developmental disabilities including Down
Syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism and
mental retardation, their families and the
professionals and community that supports
them.
The Arc of Tri-Cities is a non-profit human
service organization founded by parents in
1950, to promote services and support for
their family members with developmental
disabilities.
The Arc of Tri-Cities is part of a national
grassroots organization that works to ensure
the estimated 7.2 million Americans with
mental retardation and related
developmental disabilities have the services
and supports they need to grow, develop
and live in communities across the nation.
These services include early intervention,
health care, a free appropriate public
education and supports for their families.
Our Mission
The Arc of Tri-Cities provides assistance to
individuals with developmental disabilities
and their families in choosing and realizing
their goals of where and how they learn, live,
work and play.
