Volunteer Background Check is only required if the program manager requests that you fill one out. 


The Arc of Tri-Cities mobilizes the power of volunteers to create opportunities for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and support to their families.

Volunteers play an important part in the success of The Arc of Tri-Cities, the following are a few areas where we are recruiting volunteers:


 

Summer Camp Volunteers

The Arc of Tri-Cities offers summer camps for kids with and without speical needs. The Partners N Pals Summer camp could not be possible without the help of volunteers. Every summer we are in need of over 50 Leaders in Training (LIT)s (Ages 16 to 21) and 30 youth volunteers (Ages 11 to 15).

Special Events

The Arc of Tri-Cities holds a variety of community events throughout the year, and needs volunteers to participate on planning committees and to help with set-up and registration at the events. Previous events included March for Respect, Easter Egg Hunt, Epilepsy Walk, Annual BBQ, Dances, etc...

Day Program

The Arc of Tri-Cities offers respite and vocational services to adults with severe to moderate disabilities. We are seeking individuals who enjoy helping out with everyday activities to support our staff with the program. We also encourage those with special talents, musicians, entertainers, etc... to contact us. The ability to pass background checks is required.

Board Member

The Arc of Tri-Cities is looking for local volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors. Potential members should shave a willingess to serve a three-year commitment as we work to make a difference for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their families.

Adopt-an-Activity

Help make an activity for participants. Can be dance, bingo, art class, etc...
