Guide Star Gold Star Seal

The Arc of Tri-Cities is looking for local volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors. Potential members should have a willingness to serve a three year commitment as we work to make a difference for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Ours is a working board. Board Meetings are conducted monthly at The Arc on the third Thursday of the month to provide strategic direction for the agency. Each of our board members serves on at least one operating committee. Committees meet each to focus on The Arc's service areas.

The Arc is at work in creating opportunities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Our community effectiveness depends greatly on committed board members. The Arc needs leaders with skills, ideas, suggestions, visions and dreams to help guide The Arc of Tri-Cities and ensure people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are included in our society.

If you or someone you know is interested in serving on The Arc's Board of Directors, please contact Sherry Emery for more information and the Board Member application.  Contact by email: sherrye@arcoftricities.comor phone at 509-783-1131 ext. 102.

After an application is received, the potential member is contacted regarding the Board of Directorsinterview process.
