Adult Day Program (Respite)

Our Day Program provides a break for families as well as daytime outings for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to gather socially and participate in fun community activities such as shopping trips, lunch at the park, basketball, swimming, library visits, and movies. Individuals also enjoy daily activities such as painting, beading, decorating for the season, scavenger hunts, board games, science projects, music time, and more! Personal care, behavior support, and transportation (for Dial-A-Ride eligible individuals) are all included in our service delivery. We provide group-level support and currently operate Monday thru Friday.

Hours

Monday thru Friday, 12:30 - 3:30 PM

Additional session will be added based on demand and availability of staffing.

Location

Currently, each day will begin and end at The Arc of Tri-Cities' activity center. As our community proceeds through the phases of reopening, we will slowly expand into community activities with caution. Locations will be listed on our online activity calendar.

Health and Safety

The Arc of Tri-Cities works to maintain a healthy and safe environment. The Arc of Tri-Cities requires all participants to stay home if they are feeling unwell. If any participant arrives while demonstrating symptoms of contagious illness, they must immediately return home. All staff personnel are required to follow these same guidelines.

Program Funding

Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)  The Arc of Tri-Cities is authorized by DSHS as a program that can utilize participants waiver respite hours for payment by hour of service. Please contact your Case Resource Manager if you wish to use DDA dollars to pay.
