The Arc of Tri-Cities &
Ben Franklin Transit
In their commitment to individuals with
developmental disabilities and their
families The Arc of Tri-Cities and
Ben-Franklin Transit worked together as
partners to provide transportation for
persons with developmental disabilities.
This partnership has benefited the
community by increasing opportunities for
community integration and participation.
Increased community awareness has
resulted in a greater understanding and
acceptance of persons with developmental
disabilities.
In 1993, The Arc of Tri-Cities partnered
with Columbia Industries, Goodwill
Industries, and Adult Day Services of the
Tri-Cities to form Coalition Transportation
Service (CTS) to provide door-to-door
subscription service to members of the
Coalition attending these programs.
Participation in the CTS Transportation
Service is contingent on Dial A Ride
eligibility.
