Challenge
The Arc has outgrown its current facilities and is
further challenged by a rapidly growing
constituency.
Without services, individuals with developmental
disabilities are at risk to:
In the last five years, the population of Benton
and Franklin Counties are in the top three for
growth in the State.
The Washington State Division of Developmental
Disabilities (DDD) has identified 500 individuals
on waiting lists for services in The Arc’s service
area.
DDD projects a 35% increase of human services
participant growth in Benton/Franklin Counties
within the next five years.

individuals with developmental disabilities and
