The Arc of Tri-Cities is Recruiting New
Members to the Board of Directors
The Arc of Tri-Cities is looking for local volunteers to serve on
the Board of Directors. Potential members should have a
willingness to serve a three year commitment as we work to
make a difference for individuals with developmental
disabilities and their families.
A Capital Campaign for a new facility is in progress at The
Arc. Applicants with experience in the financial field or
fundraising are strongly encouraged to apply. The Arc values
diversity.
Ours is a working board. Board Meetings are conducted
monthly at The Arc on the third Thursday of the month to
provide strategic direction for the agency. Each of our board
members serves on at least one operating committee.
Committees meet each month to focus on The Arc’s service
areas.
The Arc’s mission of “Creating opportunities for persons with
developmental disabilities and their families” depends greatly
on committed board members. The Arc needs leaders with
skills, ideas, suggestions, visions and dreams to help guide
The Arc of Tri-Cities and ensure people with developmental
disabilities are included in our society.

Arc 946-5157 ext.102 or download Board Application. After
applications are received, potential members will be contacted
for the interview process with Board Members and the
Executive Director.
